MedTrack ("App") is a mobile application developed to help users track their medication usage. Your privacy is our top priority.

Our core principle: All your personal data is stored only on your device. No data is sent to external servers, cloud services, or third parties.

2. Data Collected

2.1 Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following information only on your device to provide its functionality:

• Medication info: Medication name, dose amount, usage frequency, stock quantity, expiry date, usage instructions, and notes
• Dose records: Medication taken, skipped, or missed records with dates
• App preferences: Language, theme, notification settings, and onboarding status
• Notification schedules: Reminder times and quiet hour preferences

2.2 Data Not Collected

The App absolutely does not collect:

• Identity information such as name, surname, email address, or phone number
• Location information
• Device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID, etc.)
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Health insurance or medical history information
• Photos, contacts, or other device data

3. Purpose of Data Usage

Data stored on your device is used only for the following purposes:

• Creating and managing your medication schedule
• Sending timely dose reminders
• Providing stock status and low stock alerts
• Calculating and displaying medication adherence statistics
• Maintaining dose history records
• Remembering your app preferences

4. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored in the local SQLite database and SharedPreferences on your device. Your data:

• Is never transmitted over the internet
• Is never backed up to any server
• Is protected by your device's security mechanisms (password, biometric lock, etc.)
• Is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app

Important: The App does not require an internet connection and works offline. The security of your data depends on the physical security of your device.

5. Data Sharing

MedTrack app:

• Does not share any data with third parties
• Does not use advertising networks or analytics services
• Does not sell or trade data
• Does not include social media integration

6. App Permissions

The App only requests the following permissions:

• Notification Permission: For sending medication reminders, low stock alerts, and missed dose notifications. This permission is optional; you can use the app even if you deny it.
• Exact Alarm: Required for sending timely notifications on Android devices.

The App does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, or other sensitive permissions.

7. Children's Privacy

MedTrack can be used by anyone without any age restriction. Since the App does not collect any personal information, there are no additional privacy concerns specific to children.

Parents or guardians can safely track their children's medications through this app.

8. User Rights

Since all your data is stored on your device, you can directly exercise the following rights:

• Right of access: You can access all your data within the app
• Right of rectification: You can edit your medication information and records at any time
• Right of deletion: You can delete individual medications or all data by uninstalling the app
• Data portability: Your data is on your device; you can use device backup tools

9. Cookies and Tracking

MedTrack app:

• Does not use cookies
• Does not use tracking pixels or web beacons
• Does not apply fingerprinting techniques
• Does not integrate any tools that analyze user behavior

10. Policy Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. You will be notified of significant changes through in-app notifications or update notes.
